Seven Amazing Activities at the LTEN Conference 2024

The LTEN Conference is the premier gathering for professionals in the life sciences training field, and 2024 promises to be the best year yet. Whether you’re a seasoned educator, a training leader, or just stepping into the world of life sciences, this event offers tons of enriching experiences. Here are seven must-do activities to ensure a great experience at the conference.

1. Engage with AI Insights at Noah Zandan’s Learning Lab

Join Noah on Tuesday, June 11 at 12:30 PM in Learning Lab 3 for an engaging session titled “How Pharma Trainers are Using AI Right Now.” This learning lab is perfect for those looking to use artificial intelligence technologies in their training environments. Noah will provide practical insights and strategies to enhance your training sessions, making them more effective and powerful.

2. Become an Even Better Social Media Storyteller

Following Noah’s session, at 1:00 PM in Lab 4, don’t miss the chance to learn from Charles Karvelas of Sage Therapeutics and Carolyn Kopchains from Red Nucleus. Their lab, “Harnessing Modern Social Media Storytelling in L&D,” will get you comfortable with delivering your story through Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, even TikTok (no, you don’t have to dance…but you can if you want to). This session is perfect for those looking to modernize their training approaches and engage learners through new, dynamic formats.

3. Update Your Image with a New Professional Headshot

Visit the Professional Headshot Station in the Learning Village Exhibit Hall on Tuesday, June 11, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Courtesy of IC Axon, this is a great chance to get a new professional headshot. Whether you’re updating your LinkedIn profile or needing a fresh look for your Instagram after the Social Media Storytelling session, professional headshots are essential for making a great first impression.

4. Learn How to Scale Certification Programs

Don’t miss the workshop “Using AI to Certify your Field Force: A Conversation with Sanofi and Quantified” on Wednesday, June 12 at 8:30am in Tampa 1-3. Presented by Mani Chidambaram, Senior Director of Commercial Training for Sanofi US, and Hallie Lynch, VP of Customer Experience at Quantified, this session will cover the integration of AI in certifying sales and field forces. It’s a great chance to hear firsthand how top companies are enhancing their training capabilities with AI.

6. Relax in a Swan Paddleboat at Lake Eola

We get it – you’re going to be super busy at the conference, and there are parties and networking every night. But if you need to take a a break from the busy conference schedule, why not recharge by renting a swan paddleboat at Lake Eola? This serene activity is a nice way to relax, enjoy nature, and reflect on the insights gained from the conference – and it’s just a short 20-minute Uber or Lyft ride away.

7. Unwind at Disney Springs

If you don’t make it as far as Lake Eola, we understand – it’s hard to make time. That’s why we suggest unwinding at Disney Springs after a day of networking, since it’s a super-fast Uber or Lyft away. Formerly known as Downtown Disney, this area offers lots of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Whether you’re in the mood for a gourmet meal, unique shopping experiences, or just a casual stroll, Disney Springs provides the perfect backdrop to relax and enjoy the evening – and it’s a great place to spend time with colleagues and new friends you’ve made at the conference.

You’re heading to LTEN to learn and network, so make the most of it. By participating in these activities, you’ll maximize your LTEN Conference experience, gaining valuable knowledge, connections, and memories.
